If there ever was a QB that needed a confidence boost it would be Colin Kaepernick. He had a lot of early success in his career, but has really broken down over the last couple of years, most notably this year. He finally had a big game that also resulted in points against the NY Giants, and the Niners scored 27 points as Kaepernick went 23-35 for 256 yards. He should fare well against a Baltimore defense that was torched by McCown for 422 yards last week. The Ravens were also torched for over 350 yards in the air by both Oakland and Cincinnati. The once proud and rugged Ravens defense is absent of playmakers and have allowed 27.6 points per game this season. The result may not be a win, however, as the 49ers have allowed 330 yards in the air on average over their last four games. It sure looks like a heavy aerial assault from both sides with plenty of opportunities for points. The total is held down because both these teams come in with defensive reputations over the past several years, but the players that made those defenses what they were have mostly all left the building. This one goes OVER.
