Atlanta at Washington

Washington had a slow start this season, but the Commanders now are hitting their stride winning five of their past six games with a 5-0-1 ATS record. One of the main reasons has been steady quarterback play by Taylor Heinicke, who has stabilized the offense while not putting up big numbers. Heinicke threw for 191 yards with no interceptions in Washington's 23-10 victory over Houston, which was held to 148 yards of offense, including just five in the first half. Washington's defense is 6th in total yards allowed and the Commanders are 12th in scoring defense with 20.3 points per game. Atlanta pulled out a 27-24 win over Chicago, which lost its fourth straight last week. The Falcons were outgained 288-280, but picked off Justin Fields with 1:07 left and Cordarrelle Patterson returned a kickoff 103 yards for a touchdown. The Falcons are just 1-4 ATS their past five games and 4-9-1 ATS their past 14 games following a win. Washington is 18-7-1 ATS following a win and the team is peaking at the right time.
