Kansas City is the defending Super Bowl champion and could win it again, but the Chiefs aren't good at covering point spreads. They didn't get the money for five straight games before ekeing out a 32-29 win at New Orleans on Sunday, which covered if you laid -2.5 points, but a push if not. Pat Mahomes passed for 254 yards and three touchdowns, and the Chiefs won their ninth in a row. This week, however, Kansas City is favored by 10-plus points against Atlanta, who are still seething from blowing another big lead against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers, which of course brought back memories of the 2017 Super Bowl. The Falcons have covered five of their last seven December games and seven of their last 10 road games overall. Kansas City running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire has combined for 1,100 yards rushing and receiving, but he is not expected to play due to hip and ankle injuries.
