Atlanta at Detroit

Detroit comes off an easy UNDER in a 24-10 win over the New York Giants on Monday night and the Lions have gone UNDER eight games in a row after a win dating to last season. The Lions are 10-3 UNDER their last 13 games overall and their defense held the Giants to 62 rushing yards on 18 carries.  Detroit also finally appears to have a running game if it can keep Ameer Abdullah healthy as he ran for 86 yards on 17 carries against the Giants. The Lions offense averaged 21 points per game in 2016 while Atlanta's opponents scored 25 per game against the Falcons. Atlanta went UNDER its last three preseason games and its season opener against the Bears before going OVER late in the fourth quarter against the Packers. Green Bay was held to 59 rushing yards by an improving Falcons defense. Ziggy Ansah anchors Detroit's defensive line and he had three of his team's five sacks of Eli Manning Monday night and the Lions are in the top 10 in all defensive categories in the early going this season.
