Atlanta at Carolina

Carolina is struggling, to say the least. The Panthers started the season at 6-2 and have not won a game since as the losing streak has reached six games. And now Cam Newton has been shut down for the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury. These things have fueled the line here as they are now a home dog to a 5-9 Atlanta team. Carolina has been unlucky to lose six straight as their last five losses have been by 1, 3, 7, 6 and three points - all determined by one play. The only team they have not out-gained in the last five contests is New Orleans. So Carolina could easily be coming into this game with 10+ wins. The Falcons haven't exactly been clicking as they just ended a 5 game losing streak of they own vs lowly Arizona. Atlanta has won just once on the road all season where they have been outscored by over 7 points per game. Dating back to last season, the Falcons are just 4-12 ATS on the road.
