The Falcons won last week for one reason: Matt Ryan. Ryan has lost most of his receiving weapons. But, similar to Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, Ryan just creates new stars. Without his three top receivers, and with the Falcons do nothing on the ground, Ryan led his team to a win by completing 20 of 26 passes, throwing for nearly 300 yards. He is the reason why I like Atlanta here against an Arizona team led by Carson Palmer, who has been responsible for the Cardinals losing by constantly making bad decisions. Palmer is limited without a healthy Larry Fitzgerald who has been battling a nagging hamstring injury. The Falcons have not let up vs. losing teams where they are 15-7-1 ATS in their last 23 against these teams. Remember the Cards started 4-0 last year, then October came where they are 2-10-1 ATS in their last 13. The wrong team is favored here. Play on Atlanta.
