An early lead in the NFC East is on the line tonight when the Eagles soar into Dallas. Philadelphia caught everyone's attention with its Week 1 blowout win against Atlanta, but fell to 1-1 after a home loss to San Francisco. The Cowboys opened in primetime at Tampa Bay, a tough spot for any team, and had to regroup last Sunday against the Chargers. Dallas held the Chargers to just 17 points, which looks impressive compared to the 30 points Los Angeles put up in Kansas City yesterday, but the Chiefs defense is tied for last in the league with Detroit in points allowed (31.7 per game). The Chargers still notched 408 total yards against Dallas, but repeatedly shot themselves in the foot with penalties (12). Dallas also won the turnover battle, and held Los Angeles to one of four red zone conversions (25%). It's possible this Cowboy D is better than we thought, but more likely that they caught LA in a look-ahead spot. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense will be focused and I'll look for Hurts to make plays with his feet, as well as through the air. Hurts has rushed for 60-plus yards in each of his five full games, and that'll keep the Cowboys defense off balance. The Eagles O-Line injuries are offset by Dallas' front seven woe, and that gives an added edge to Hurts. Dallas is not a good team laying points, going 1-7 ATS its past eight, while the Eagles are 16-6 ATS in Monday Night road games. Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy is going to try and let his offense loose, as he is 33-17 OVER (66%) in September, and 21-9 OVER (70%) at home after allowing 400-plus yards. Jerry will get his show, but grab all the points in what could turn into a shootout. Combine the Eagles +3.5 (-115) and the Philadelphia - Dallas OVER 51.5 (-105) into a 2-team parlay at +265 odds.
