Washington at San Antonio

There is no doubt that Washington is vastly improved from a year ago. The Mystics have already recorded more wins than they did all of last season, and we are not even at the halfway mark yet. They have, however, struggled on the road this season at 2-5, and those two wins came vs. opponents which are a combined 6-20. The Silver Stars are the most under-the-radar team in the WNBA, and don't be fooled by the 4-8 record this team has right now. The Silver Stars have played nine of their 12 games against teams that have a combined record of 81-37, and all of them are .571 or better. Two of their other three games have been at Seattle, which is never easy, and vs. last year's champion. I think the line and the total are held against them because of their 4-8 record. They defend much better, and are a much better team, and are also off a win at Phoenix. San Antonio is 4-1 to the UNDER in their last five at home, and have played four straight to the UNDER off an ATS win. Also, the Silver Stars are 17-5 to the UNDER at home after giving up 70+ points in five straight games. Make the play on San Antonio and also go with the UNDER.
