Washington at San Antonio

The Washington Mystic won 22 regular season games in 2010, but have really struggled since to find the win column with a Tulsa-like 11-44 mark in their last 55 games. They have become more competitive however as they have reversed a 2-4 ATS mark a year ago as a double-digit dog to go 4-2 ATS so far this season. This this is the biggest spread of them all and not vs. the best team they have faced, so there is some apparent padding on the line here. That is in part due to the fact this San Antonio team just went to Phoenix and pounded the under-manned Mercury by 42 points. The Silver Stars have also won 11 in a row, but just four of the 11 by covering the margin needed here. They also have a date in Los Angeles coming up next, so I don't see them going for the jugular here. The Mystics have played well here at 5-1 ATS in their last six, and will hang close enough here.
