Washington at New York

There is still a lot to be decided in the WNBA Eastern Conference. It is certain that Chicago will be in the playoffs, while four teams battle for the remaining slots. This is a big one for New York at home as they can go from the outside looking in, to the inside with a win. The New York Liberty is inside the heads of the Washington Mystics, a team they have beaten in both games this season. They have now now won five straight against them. These teams are both pretty ordinary on both ends of the floor, and with so much at stake here I would anticipate a playoffs-like defensive effort from both squads. I think this game plays in the half court and with both teams somewhat challenged on the offensive end, a lower scoring game than expected will be the likely scenario here. The Mystics enter with some baggage of late vs. losing teams, where they are 1-4 ATS in their last five. The Liberty has dropped just one ATS in their last six within the conference, and are now 34-16-2 to the UNDER in their last 52 off a win. Play on New York and take the UNDER.
