This should be an interesting game simply because we have the league's best offense in the Minnesota Lynx, taking on the league's best defense in the Washington Mystics, who allow a league-low 73.9 points per game. The Mystics may be catching the Lynx at the right time as Minnesota has dropped four out of six contests after starting the season at 7-0. The Lynx offense has lost a lot of their swagger over the six game stretch, as they have been held to 79 points or less in three of them. That is a huge change from their 7-0 start that saw them score 87 or more points in six of the seven. Washington has certainly displayed the slower tempo and defense to frustrate Minnesota's now struggling psyche into bad shots, and the recipe is in place for the upset.
