The Washington Mystics are a vastly-improved team from a year ago, as indicated by their 5-4 record after stumbling to a 10-24 mark a year ago. The Mystic have made a lot of changes and addressed a key issue from a year ago. The lack of a true point guard meant Alena Beard assumed the duties, but with the addition of Lindsay Harding, who is also contributing 10.2 points per game. They also have another bona fide scorer with Marissa Coleman adding 12.7 ppg, and Alena Beard has been scoring better now that she doesn't have to worry about running the offense. Minnesota opened 3-0 behind Simeone Augustus, but she is gone for the season and the Lynx have dropped three games by 17 or more points and the consistency night in and night out is not the same without Augustus scoring 24 per night consistently. I like Washington in this one.
