It been a long road trip for Washington, 3,000 miles, and they are winless. Washington (2-5) is the second worst offensive team in the WNBA averaging just 69 ppg and this will only be their third road game. It's the start of a difficult three-game stretch out West and the Mystics are 2-6 ATS in their last eight against the Western Conference, plus 10-25-1 ATS in their last 36 games playing on two days rest. Los Angeles (7-3) has a strong team, but is riding a two-game skid, both on the road, so getting home will be a huge plus, where they are 4-0. The last game was frustrating, an overtime loss at San Antonio getting outscored by a 15-2 count in the extra frame. Los Angeles was playing its third game in four nights and the physical toll of that schedule seemed apparent in the extra period overtime. "Clearly I didn't have the team ready to play," said Sparks Coach Carol Ross. "I think we lost this before we played it." Which will mean a big bounce back effort tonight. The Sparks are 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on one day's rest and 4-1 ATS against the Eastern Conference. Play the LA Sparks.
