Washington had a winning preseason, and are off a 2014 campaign where they were #1 in the WNBA in points allowed and #2 in rebounds. Tayler Hill and Emma Meesseman have led an up-tempo offense in the preseason too, with a pair of blowout wins. Meesseman shot 76% from the floor. And rookie Natasha Cloud was the #15 overall pick, and had  a strong preseason. They face a Connecticut team that imploded with injuries last season and still isn't healthy with 2014 #1 overall pick Chiney Ogwumike still out indefinitely after knee surgery.
