The Atlanta Dream has already exceeded last year's home win total with three, and have equaled last year's total wins. The Dream is getting points from a trio that wasn't on the squad a year ago, in Holdsclaw, Lyttle, and McCaughtrey. The three are averaging over 37 points a game between them, and it certainly is the reason that this team has developed from a team that didn't fit in the league a year ago, to one that certainly is making some noise early. The Washington Mystics are also an improved team, but still not able to take advantage of momentum as they seem to stumble after a big win or cover. The Mystics are just 4-9 ATS after an ATS win and an even worse 2-8 ATS after a straight-up win. The Dream lost to Washington early in the season by just six on the road, despite having a quarter where they were outscored 30-8, they still stayed in the game. That lapse is unlikely at home, and I look for the Dream to revenge that loss and get the win and cover here. Atlanta gets the nod.
