The oddsmakers are going too far with Tulsa in the WNBA. They’ve got the worst record in the league, but are catching value, covering their last two games. There is a sense of urgency now for this team to get a win as Tulsa has lost 15 consecutive games and that’s the second-longest skid in league history. The Shock must win tonight at Seattle, or Sunday night at Minnesota to avoid equaling the longest losing streak in league history. Atlanta lost 17 consecutive games during the 2008 season. Tulsa’s most recent defeat came Tuesday night in Los Angeles, a 71-66 loss as they got as close as three points in the final minute. Seattle is the defending WNBA champion, but the Storm are playing without reigning league MVP Lauren Jackson, who had surgery to repair the labrum in her left hip. The Seattle Storm is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS win. I see another strong effort by the hungry visitors against the hurting home team. Play on Tulsa.
