Tulsa at San Antonio

The Tulsa Shock will break the seal on their 2014 season, coming off an 11 win campaign from a year ago - their most wins since moving from Detroit. They will do it on the road vs. San Antonio, a loser in their opener last night on the road in Atlanta. The 79 points allowed in Atlanta may be driving the total up here, but Atlanta went for 80+ in 10 of 17 regular season home games last season, and are considered better offensively this year. Last year these teams played to totals that averaged in the high-140s, and three of the four meetings did not get over the 140-point mark, so I think the oddsmakers' expectations here are a bit over done. This series has seen five of the last six play UNDER the total, and the number has moved up for this one, but I don't see it getting there. Play on the UNDER.
