Things haven't worked out so far for the Tulsa Shock since moving from Detroit. They did win more games last year (11), than any of the previous years since the move, and the progress is slowly coming. This team is 0-3 but have covered every game. Over their last nine games as a dog from +6 or higher they are 8-1 ATS. The huge losses just are not occurring despite the fact the win column isn't being filled very often. Phoenix loves playing at a frenetic pace, but they have yet to get the offense in high gear this season with all three of their games playing UNDER the total. The Shock are still under the radar, and they have responded with a 7-0 ATS mark in their last seven vs. a winning team. The Mercury are fun to watch, but are expensive to play on at home where they are a woeful 15-35-1 ATS in their last 51. Take the points on Tulsa. Also take the first-half OVER. Tulsa's games have produced 88 first-half points on average thus far - nearly 8 full points higher than this total. Since last season, Phoenix is 17-8 OVER in the first-half in games in which they score 71 or more points. Given that the Mercury are avergagin 76.3 per game and Tulsa is allowing 85.3 per game, Phoenix reaching 71 points here is all but a lock. Take Tulsa and the first-half OVER.
