It has been an ugly, bumpy ride for the Tulsa Shock since their departure from Detroit. They have sat at the bottom of the league for the most part, but did show some gains a year ago with 11 wins - their most since the move. This year started with the same old song, loss after loss, as the Shock opened the season a dreaded 0-5. They have gotten things together, grown as a team, and have become a lot more confident as they have won five of their last seven games. Indiana has been erratic to say the least this season. They opened 0-3, then won four straight, and have now gone just 2-3 in their last five. Indiana plays in the half court and allow the third fewest points in the league, while their offense ranks in the bottom three, so I don't expect this game to get into the 150s as the oddsmakers suggest. Indiana owns seven straight wins vs. Tulsa, so the motivation here will be questionable. The Shock are flying under the radar right now - a lot better than what the record shows. The last five meetings have not reached this total, and Indiana is 11-4 to the UNDER in their last 15 vs. a team with a losing record. With Diggins and Sims poised to make an impact down the stretch, I like Tulsa on the moneyline and also the UNDER in this one.
