Seattle at New York

It is becoming pretty apparent that this Seattle entry isn't up to the standard of what we have seen from this club the past few seasons. It hasn't affected them at home where they are always tough, but on the road that evidence is becoming highly visible. The Storm are just a dismal 4-8 on the road for the season, and when you consider the two virtually automatic wins at Tulsa in the mix, they are just 2-8. The Storm has been buried for half of those losses by an average of 20.8 points per game. The exposure comes from a league-leading defense that has not held up in those situations, allowing 78.5 ppg. The defense is also showing signs of wear allowing 75.3 ppg in their last six. New York is a scoring machine at home, pushing the 80 mark in five of their last nine here. The Storm is taking the donut in their last five vs. the East at 0-5 ATS, while NY is punishing the West at 7-1 ATS in their last eight. The Seattle defense is showing vulnerability of late, particularly in this type of road game, while the Liberty is taking liberty on the offensive end at home.
