Seattle at New York

The Seattle Storm has established themselves the team to beat in the WNBA this season. They are 21-7 and have a three-game lead with six to play to finish as the top seed in the upcoming playoffs. The Storm is playing even better of late as they are 11-2 over their last 13 and have not lost to a losing team since June 19th. Seattle can go a long way to clinching the #1 seed in the playoffs with a win tonight, allowing their starters to get some rest down the stretch. That is a huge difference from the last two seasons where they made the playoffs with a losing record. The Storm has also been brilliant on the road where they own a 10-3 SU and ATS mark on the season. The Liberty, at 7-20 on the season, is going nowhere, and have dropped six straight games. The Liberty have dropped 13 games on the season by 10+ points, and that includes their last four home losses, all by double-digits. The Storm held the Liberty to just 62 points in the last meeting, and the Liberty were limited to 55 points in their last outing by five win Indiana Fever. The Liberty will try to slow the pace to stay close as they did last time, but that didn't exactly keep the game close as the Storm won by 15, even though they were held well below their season average.
