Seattle won at home in the opener, but this is a tough spot heading out on the road without two star players. Reigning MVP Breanna Stewart (Achilles) is out for the season and league legend Sue Bird (knee) is sidelined indefinitely. Minnesota rolled over Chicago, 89-71, so this is its second straight home game. Sylvia Fowles had 16 points, 10 boards, but the big story was 6-foot-2 rookie Napheesa Collier with 27 points, six rebounds and three blocks. Collier was the sixth overall pick in last month's WNBA draft. Minnesota held a 46-29 advantage on the glass and attempted more than twice as many free throws (32 to 15).
