Seattle is great at home, but a terrible road team at 4-10 straight-up. They carry a four-game win streak into this one, including the last game over this LA team, but all those games were at home. And they barely beat LA, 65-63, as 7-point chalk. The Seattle Storm is 2-7-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Los Angeles. Los Angeles has a winning record at home and this is only their second home contest over the last six games. And that last game, the loss in Seattle, was a tough one to swallow for LA, putting Sue Bird at the line to win it. Sparks coach Joe Bryant was upset about the call that put Bird on the line. “I'm not going to say what I think because I don't want to get fined,'' Bryant said. “I thought we played great defense. It's just sad that it had to end that way because usually, you let the players make the decisions in games. So that was probably the saddest part about it.'' Los Angeles fell two games behind San Antonio for the fourth and final playoffs spot in the Western Conference with five games left, so there is urgency. The LA Sparks are 4-1 ATS in their last five games vs. a team with a winning straight-up record and look for a big bounce back effort by the home team after that tough defeat. Play the LA Sparks.
