San Antonio at Phoenix

Phoenix is no doubt the sexy pick here, as they have the WNBA's leading scorer in Diana Turasi, and the presence of Britney Griner in the middle. In spite of that, the Mercury are just 8-5, certainly improved but not dominating, at least yet. San Antonio is just 3-8, but the schedule has been extremely difficult. They have already faced LA three times, the Chicago Sky twice, along with Minnesota and Atlanta. They certainly are a better team than their 3-8 mark would indicate, and Phoenix could sure be hung over following a loss in their last game vs. Minnesota by over 30 points. That was a big game for them, and they will likely find it difficult to be energized for this one. The Mercury are a woeful 6-20 ATS in their last 26 at home, and may get the win, but the number here is simply too big. Take San Antonio.
