San Antonio at Minnesota

The San Antonio Silver Stars have been a poor team this season, but the same can be said for a lot of the teams in the WNBA West. The Silver Stars have an overall record of 7-16, and believe it or not, they are just a half game out of the final Eastern Conference playoff spot. That will tend to keep this team fighting and focused going forward. Here is a team that could very well make the playoffs despite the poor record and the fact that they have laid an egg on the road at 0-11 on the season. Minnesota once again appears to be the best team in the WNBA at 16-6, but over their last eight games they have been drifting, as they are 5-3, having won just one game by more than 8 points, and have outscored their opponents by an average of just 1.6 points per game over the stretch.
