San Antonio at Los Angeles

It has been a tale of two teams for the LA Sparks, as they have run the table at home at 7-0, but have also taken the donut on the road at 0-4. Despite the magic at home where they are unbeaten, the oddsmakers have been much too aggressive, posting them at unreasonable rates. The outcome is 0-4 ATS at home in their last four as a double-digit home favorite. The Sparks have had an agenda in their last two at home. They have attempted to run their opponents out of the gym, posting 60 points in the first half in both of them, with the average first half total points at 98. While the point totals have swollen, the defense has simply not been there, and they have not been able to take down the huge numbers pinned on them by the oddsmakers. I expect a track meet in the first half which has been the mantra of this LA team, but without the commitment to the other end, the big number will be hard to overcome.
