San Antonio at Los Angeles

The San Antonio Silver Stars and the Los Angeles Sparks have both had their moments of glory in the WNBA, but recently neither have been a factor. That has all changed this season, and a heavyweight battle will ensue in LA tonight. The Sparks are talented and playing as well as anyone right now. Since their last defeat in San Antonio, they have rattled off seven straight wins, as well as seven straight covers. They are a hot team, playing at home where they are 10-1 on the season. They are also playing with revenge, which is a lethal combo, so expect the "A" game. The Silver Stars have won 12 straight, but since the Olympic break they have seen three of the worst teams in the league in Tulsa, Phoenix, and Washington. They also haven't played on the road vs. a very good team since late June, and that will be a factor tonight. Play on LA.
