Phoenix at Seattle

A pair of 0-1 teams meet in Seattle, a place where Phoenix is 1-4 ATS the last five meetings. Phoenix's opener against Chicago on Monday was one of the most highly anticipated regular-season games in franchise history, but it ended up being a dud, a 102-80 loss. Phoenix's offense sputtered, finishing with 14 turnovers to 13 assists. It shot 42.6 percent compared to 50.7 for the Sky. Now they head out on a three-game road trip, and the Mercury is 7-15 ATS in their last 22 road games, 7-20 ATS following a loss. Seattle is 5-0 ATS in their last five home games, and the Storm owned Phoenix last year winning four of five games. This is the home opener for Seattle, and something clearly isn't right at the moment for Phoenix as they lost their home opener 102-80 as a big favorite. It's a bold call I know but I'm backing the Storm on the moneyline here at 5-to-1.
