Phoenix at San Antonio

It has been a horrible start for the Phoenix Mercury as they are 1-3 out of the gate, with the only win (by just two point) vs. a Tulsa team that hardly ever sees the win column. Diana Turasi will once again be sidelined with a hp injury and Penny Taylor has already been lost for the season. The good news is Candace Duprey has picked up the slack at 20.5 ppg and Dwanna Bonner at 18 ppg has added eight points onto her scoring output from a year ago. Toss in Charde Houston's unexpected 14 ppg and the Mercury still have a lot of firepower. San Antonio also has just one win on the season and it was also against Tulsa. They were beaten badly at home by an average Chicago team, so this line is inflated due to the Mercury injuries. Since they still have a lot of weapons and San Antonio is allowing 80 ppg vs. lesser offenses, which has lead to a 4-1 mark to the OVER in their last five. Play this one on Phoenix and the OVER.
