Phoenix at San Antonio

With the likes of Diana Turasi and Britney Griner on the floor, the Phoenix Mercury look like a team that should be better than what they have been. The cold hard facts don't support it, however, as over the last three years this team has struggled to a 48-43 overall record, and have played well below the line at 39-51-1 ATS. They are off a win and have alternated wins and losses for nine straight games. They have disappointed even further against the horrible teams in the league where they have been a relative no-show with a 5-10 ATS mark vs. teams that are .222 or less. They also have a home/road dichotomy that is huge in regards to totals, as they are 23-42-2 to the OVER in their last 67 at home, but stand in at 20-7 to the OVER in their last 27 on the road. San Antonio won't get their attention with just one win on the season - exactly the type of team they struggle with. Play San Antonio and the OVER in this one.
