Phoenix at Connecticut

The Connecticut Sun, at 14-9, are now tied with Washington for what would be the 3rd and 4th seed in the WNBA playoffs' new format. The #3 and #4 seeds get a bye from the First Round. And with Phoenix sitting at 13-10 and in the #5 spot, this becomes a huge game for Phoenix to move up into "bye" territory. The Sun are 13-4 over their last 17 games, so it won't be easy. This line, however, is way out of whack. The Sun have faced 10 teams that were better than .500 at the time of the game, and the biggest line they faced was -3.5, all of a sudden that has jumped to -8.5 as of this writing? The Mercury have played well of late themselves, winning and covering two straight. The line is too high here. Make the play on Phoenix.
