Phoenix at Chicago

This is only the second road game for Phoenix and the Mercury are on a 3-7 spread run away from home. The Phoenix Mercury are a good sized road favorite, but have lost six of their last nine road contests. In their lone road game this season they won at San Antonio as a 10-point favorite but failed to cover, scoring just 32 second half points and shooting 34.9% for the game. Chicago is home for the second straight game. They have a nice one-two punch on offense with Tamera Young (15.2 points, 4.2 rebounds per game) and veteran Cappie Pondexter (14.7 points, 8.3 assists pg). Chicago recently had reinforcements arrive in guards Allie Quigley and Courtney Vandersloot, who returned from European play.
