New York at Washington

There is no doubt that the Washington Mystics are a vastly improved team over a year ago. Washington managed just five wins all season a year ago, and already have logged 9 this season as they enter this game at .500. While things have changed, the oddsmakers have now overcompensated. Last year near season's end, New York was a 9-point favorite here, so to say that these teams are close to 15 points different since that game is certainly not the case. New York finished four games below .500 a year ago, which is exactly where they are now, and the Liberty have failed to cover just one time in their last six road games. There is certainly a difference on the Washington side, but not one that equates to 15 points on the line. There is an over-lay at work here, so play on New York.
