This league has changed considerably over the last four years as you can go back just to 2005 and find that just two teams were able to average 70 points a game. The change has been so dramatic in the ability to score that now every team in the league averages 70 points a game, so anytime you see a total hovering in the 140 range you have to look closely for a potential over. That becomes more likely when you have a home team, which usually succeeds in controlling the tempo of the game, that is willing to run. Washington fits into that perfectly as they average just a tick under 80 points a game on their home floor and those kind of numbers have produced seven of the last nine at home for the Mystics to the OVER, as well as a 12-4 mark to the over off a straight up loss. Then when you look at the history between these two clubs that shows ten of the last 13 going over and six of the last seven played in Washington going over the total as well. There is only one way to go and I'll back the total to go OVER here.
