New York at Washington

The New York Liberty thought they had all the bases covered to make a good run this season. They filled a big hole in the middle with Tina Charles, but the results have been disappointing. The Liberty got off to a slow start, and just never seemed to find the right chemistry, and that has left them a disappointing three games below .500. They have been an underachieving team all season, and thusly, overrated. The road has been a nightmare, where they are just 4-10 on the season, and their win in their last game in Atlanta may serve to stem their emotion tonight in Washington. The Mystics have been holding serve at home where they have won each of their last three, and are 2-0-1 ATS in the process in the three games. The Liberty are just 4-13 ATS in their last 17 when following a win, and are an ugly 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 on a day of rest. Take Washington.
