Las Vegas finally will get some tough competition after dominating most of the season as New York is the leader in the Eastern Conference and has won four in a row and six of seven with a 5-2 ATS mark. The Liberty defeated Connecticut 89-81 on Tuesday covering as a 4.5-point favorite and held the Sun to 39 percent shooting while Breanna Stewart led New York with 24 points and the Liberty shot 49 percent. It was an impressive victory considering it came two nights after an overtime win over Washington.
