Connecticut was criticized for trading for Renee Montgomery to add to the hometown flavor and box office, but it has worked rather well. After a rookie season turning the ball over at an alarming rate, she is scoring in double figures and leads the team in assists. She has joined former teammate Tina Charles who is having a great rookie season averaging just about a double-double. It makes this team tough at home where they are already 3-0. Asjha Jones, the third UConn player is working her way back to form that helped her score nearly 17 points per game a year ago. These players are used to winning, and the chemistry is already there. The Liberty is overmatched vs. the better teams at 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven vs. a team with a winning record. Connecticut gets the money here.
