New York at Connecticut

New York (10-16) is in a slump, riding a 1-4 SU/ATS run, including a three game skid. It doesn't help that they haven't been home in a while, playing their third straight road game. The Liberty is 4-11 ATS in their last 15 Sunday games. Offense has been the problem, scoring 64, 57, and 57 points the last three games. The defense hasn't been sharp, either, off an 82-64 defeat at Chicago on Friday, allowing 88 and 82 points the last two games. In fact, they've allowed 80 or more in six of the last seven.  They are not a good rebounding team, while the Connecticut Sun is very good, fifth in the league on the glass. The Sun is 6-2 ATS in their last eight games playing on two days rest. New York has dropped seven straight in Connecticut, falling 81-69 in its first visit of the season May 25th. New York is only 2-10 SU in the last 12 meetings here. The Liberty is 2-8 ATS in the last 10 meetings, 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings in Connecticut.
In addition, look for plenty of offense. Connecticut is on a 3-1 run OVER the total going uptempo, scoring 78 and 77 points the last two games, but they've allowed 91, 89, 88, and 86 the last four. The OVER is 8-3 in the New York Liberty's last 11 against a team with a losing record, and 5-2 OVER the total against the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, Connecticut is 7-3 OVER the total playing on two days rest, and the OVER is 10-4-1 in the Sun's last 15 Sunday games. Two Plays: 1) Play Connecticut;  2) Play the New York Liberty/Connecticut Sun OVER the total.
