The New York Liberty have struggled to open the season, but they have a special player in the middle in Tina Charles. The Sky have injury issues with their top three players. Fowles is out and Della Donne is questionable as she continues her battle against Lyme disease. Breland may also sit, nursing a leg injury. I look for New York to exploit the void in the middle with Charles for easy high-percentage buckets early, and will try to quick-tempo the Sky early and take advantage of their shortage of quality players. The Sky ranks #10 out of 12 teams in points allowed at 79.2 on the season, as teams try to get them into a running game. Look for this game to get off to a flying start, and combine that with high-percentage opportunities from Charles. As a result, play on the first half OVER the total.
