Minnesota at Los Angeles

Los Angeles played great in winning two home games against Indiana and Atlanta, but then the Sparks went on the road and lost to Las Vegas and Phoenix. The Sparks are back home again and have another opportunity for a victory as they play Minnesota, which has lost three of its last four, although the Lynx do come off a 92-85 win at Atlanta on Thursday. The Lynx are in last place in the Western Conference, and they lost the last meeting, 85-83, in May. Four of the last five meetings have gone UNDER, and the Lynx are 9-3 UNDER against teams with losing records. Nine of the past 11 meetings at Los Angeles have stayed UNDER, and the Sparks are 4-1-1 UNDER their last six against teams with losing records. Look for both teams to come out firing as they both want to avoid a last-place finish, and then look for a more defensive battle in the second half. I have three picks on this one for you.
