Minnesota at New York

The defending WNBA Champion Minnesota Lynx, brings a 1-1 record to New York, to take on the Liberty (0-1). Minnesota survived 24 turnovers their last time out, and still managed to score 76 points. Sylvia Fowles was a menace scoring 24 points and grabbing 20 boards in the win. New York will have its hands full defending Mia Moore outside, and Fowles inside after allowing 80 points to the Sky in their season opener. The Lynx have topped the 80-point mark in 60% of the last 15 meetings with the Liberty, and 7 of the last 10 meetings have gone OVER the total. The Liberty has gone for 75+ in six of the last 10, and this one will go OVER the total. Additionally, the Liberty saw first round draft pick Kia Nurse go for 17 points in her first game, and that should help open the floor for another UConn star, Tina Charles inside.
