Minnesota at Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Sparks are a very talented team with all-star caliber personnel, but they have played lackluster basktball to open the season. They now have to try to dig themselves out of a 3-6 start, which has them buried in the basement of the WNBA West. Sometimes it takes a champion, and a big game to get a team jump started, so I expect a big effort out of LA tonight. Minnesota is clearly the class of the WNBA, and have been now for several years as they have an overall record of 107-30 in their last 137 games. While this team is capable of long winning streaks, they are also capable of going through tough times. Despite the few loses over a long period, they have dropped three straight games in each of the last two seasons, and they simply are not playing well now. Minnesota has fared poorly in LA where they are just 7-18 ATS in their last 25. Los Angeles rises to the level most expected in this one, so play on the Sparks.
