The Minnesota Lynx have been amomg the top teams in the WNBA for years. This season has been a lot more challenging, but they are comfortably in the eighth and final playoff spot, and within reach of moving up to fifth. A win in LA tonight would leave them just two games away from LA for the fourth slot and home court advantage in the first round, so an extra effort should take place tonight. LA had dropped two straight games and is not playing well right now. The defense allowed a higher shooting percentage in each of the last two games than any of the previous eight games and they have been beaten off the glass in the two losses.
