Minnesota at Connecticut

Last place Connecticut may be home, but they can't shoot or score, at #10 in the WNBA in assists, and #11 in rebounds. They limp home from a four-game road trip. They host a dynamite Minnesota defense ranked second in the league in points allowed. After a trio of losses the Lynx decided to get their act together on defense and have won two in a row. They crushed San Antonio, allowing 68 points and 33% shooting, then held Chicago to 82 points and 39% shooting. The Minnesota defense was impressive as Chicago's scoring allowed per quarter went 30, 21, 17 and 14. For the season Minnesota has held opponents to the second-lowest shooting percentage in the WNBA (41.6% shooting). Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve said this week. The Lynx allowed an average of 92 points during their losing streak and failed to hold any of those three foes under 40 percent shooting, so they are clearly back on the defensive end.
