Coach Bill Laimbeer is doing a tremendous job with the Las Vegas Aces as they actually have a good shot at a playoff spot after an awful start to the season when they were still putting the team together and developing some team chemistry. The Aces have won four in a row and covered the spread the last three following Friday's 85-77 win at Minnesota when Kayle McBride had 24 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds. And A'ja Wilson added 11 points, 15 rebounds, and four blocks. Meanwhile, Los Angeles has lost six of its last eight, including a 92-77 loss at home to Dallas on Thursday while allowing the Wings to shoot 50 percent from the field.
