Los Angeles at Connecticut

The LA Sparks will make the cross country journey to take on Connecticut. Both teams have displayed a lot of firepower and talent and on their way to successful seasons. Connecticut is stacked with former UConn players, and they have become a force together, but LA is certainly their equal. The Sparks have an answer for Tina Charles in the middle with Candace Parker, and have Kristi Toliver on the outside scoring 20 points per game game as well. They also have newcomer Nnenkadi Ogumike - a Stanford product and a star, contributing 15 ppg and nearly 7rebounds per game and getting better with each passing game. This matchup looks about even to me, so the points loom large. The Sun has had their problems playing vs. the West, losers of each of their last five against the number.
