The Indiana Fever went through a period of the season where they went 19-3 and basically iced their position atop the WNBA East very early, while most teams were bunched together, hovering around the .500 mark. They closed the season at 3-7 and it looks like they have lost it. The problem was they had no incentive to get out and play at the same level. Their good play and the seperation it gave them from the rest of the pack took care of that. Now they have their first real game in a long time, and they will come to play. Washington has played as a much-improved team, but they simply don't have the same talent as the Fever. I'd be much more concerned about the Mystics' 5-9 finish than the Fever's 3-7 finish, as Washington needed wins and couldn't find them. When you look at the first matchup of these two teams, when Indiana was still playing, they won at Washington by 12. That is very telling to me, so I'll grab Indiana here on the moneyline.
