The Minnesota Lynx stumbled at home in game one in their defense of their WNBA Title. This is no doubt the most talented team in the WNBA, but have they played like it down the stretch? There is mounting evidence that they have not. The Lynx were blowing out just about every team they faced, as their first 22 wins saw them winning 19 of them by 9 points or more. They lost just four times in the process. Their last nine wins have shown just four times where they have won by 9 or more points, while losing five times. Those numbers tell two different stories. Be it pressure to repeat, or losing their edge, things are simply not the same. The Fever have been highly competitive and even more so as the season has progressed. Their last 28 games shows they have been beaten by more than 10 points just one time, so the likelihood here is that they will be competitive inside the pointspread, and could actually pull the upset again. The line value here goes to the visitor, so play on Indiana.
