Indiana at Atlanta

The Indiana Fever were unlikely winners of the WNBA Championship last season. This year they opened the season with a big hangover, as they started 1-7, and were unlikely candidates to be here. There is, however, a familiar ring to what they did a year ago, and what they are doing now. They were expected to be easy prey for Chicago to open the playoffs, but they surprisingly dispatched of the Sky two games to none, and both wins were by double-digits. The Fever is at it again defensively, as they held the Sky to 64.5 points per game in the series. Atlanta opened the season at 10-1, but have not been the same team since. Yes, they beat a mediocre Washington team after answering a wake-up call in game one where they were beaten badly. They managed just 66.3 ppg in that series, and I expect this one to be tougher, and for the points to be equally difficult to come by. The Fever have been here before, against the odds, but have a blueprint from last year to follow, and the confidence to get it done. The Dream are also 0-5 ATS with two days rest, and the Fever have covered four of their last five vs. a winning team, and have also played 7-3 to the UNDER in their last 10 after a win. Defense rules here, and that has been the key to the Indiana success. Take Indiana and play the UNDER.
