Detroit opened as a mere one-point favorite but this line has since moved to 2.5. I like the value now represented on the moneyline with the home team. Detroit has historically handled the Fever, but this is a prime chance to change all that for Indiana. The Fever should be extremely motivated here given that Detroit swept them two years ago and beat them 2-1 last season. I expcet Detroit to in some ways be looking ahead as a result of those results. In fact, head coach Bill Laimbeer has been talking this week about how his goal is to "win the whole thing." I like the momentum that the Fever are bringing into this one, having won five of their last seven, including the last two by a combined score of 177-148. Detroit is laying more than a basket here despite the fact that they were just 8-9 on the road while Indiana was 11-6 at home. I'll back the home team for the win.
